Riley Maracle from the Bonnyville Nouvelle wrote a great article about my trip last week speaking at Glendon School for Pink Shirt Day.
“One of the issues with bullying, if you focus on bullying it increases the bullying. If you talk to kids who aren’t being bullied they don’t care. Instead of focusing on the idea of bullying we have to focus on the things that will not let kids do that in the first place.”
I appreciate how accurately he captured my approach to anti bullying and also my vision with teaching frisbee to kids. Thanks again to Janice, Darren and all of the staff at Glendon for such a great day!
