Students at Cando Community School spent the afternoon learning all about frisbee and were challenged by Frisbee Rob to spend less time in front of a screen.
Rob worked with students from Grades 1 – 10, and given that the entire school only had 75 students the day he was there, Rob had a lot of individual time with each student.
First Nations communities especially spend a lot of time in front of a screen so it’s extra important to inspire the students to explore other activities that don’t involve technology.
The students had a ton of fun learning all about frisbee, and just getting back to playing. A lot of the kids told Rob that they hadn’t just played in a long time. The smiles and laughs told Rob that those who took part enjoyed themselves!
