I challenged 300 students to get Unplugg’d and taught them what’s possible with frisbee including freestyle, disc golf, guts, inventing games, and self caught flight!
One of the biggest lessons today was teaching the staff & students that frisbee is more than just ultimate. Ultimate is awesome, but for kids who aren’t into team sports, they won’t find ultimate awesome.
It’s super important that we introduce frisbee to kids, show them what’s possible, and let them discover what part of frisbee speaks to them. It won’t be ultimate for everyone, so if we lead with ultimate, we’re doing a huge disservice to the sport and the people.
