A last minute change of plans meant that I got to do a demo during the Kids Disc Sports Program and afterwards played in the Battlefords Disc Golf Indoor League!
Evan has been doing some really great work to grow disc golf, and the 50th course in Saskatchewan will be opening this spring when he installs the 3rd course in North Battleford!
The kids had a great time getting to see what’s possible with frisbee, including playing Battle Royale, learning some freestyle sticks, and witnessing a trick shot in person for the first time ever!
Frisbee is such a varied, accessible, fun, and dynamic sport for people of all ages, It’s important to know what’s possible so we can at least show those new to the sport the different options that exist in the sport.
