Assembly and Frisbee Workshops at St. Jerome School

Thanks to the sponsorship of Charlesglen Toyota, I spent the day speaking and teaching frisbee to 290 students in Grades 4-6 at St. Jerome School.

During the assembly, they got to watch me demonstrate what’s possible with a frisbee including a full length basketball net trick shot!

During the workshops, they got to learn all about throwing & catching, ultimate, freestyle, disc golf, creating throws, and inventing games.

I also gave the students my Kindness Challlenge, which includes 20 mini frisbees from Charlesglen as the prizes for the winners – who will be randomly drawn from anyone who completes the challenge!

It’s simple but not easy – no screens in the bedroom, no screens at the dinner table, and no screens one hour before bed. I encouraged them to do more and watch less. Read more and watch less. Find their thing. Focus on trying their best and not being afraid to fail.
