Frisbee Workshops at Walnut Park Elementary School

I spent 2 days at Walnut Park Elementary School teaching more than 300 students from Kindergarten to Grade 7 all about what’s possible with frisbee.

They learned about disc golf, ultimate, freestyle, dodge disc, inventing games, and creating throws.

In addition I shared messages about physical literacy, resiliency, kindness, and self-awareness.

In particular, I talked about how I wanted them to at least try, and to try to do their best, instead of being the best, or better than someone else.

I also encouraged them to start a Frisbee Club, and gave them some ideas by setting some school records with the “Most Consecutive Throws Without a Drop” – the school record is 82!
