Think of a track meet, but with frisbee! Participants will compete in a variety of frisbee disciplines, including distance throwing, accuracy, and freestyle. Whether you’re a first-time player or a seasoned pro, this event is all about having fun, learning new skills, and meeting new friends.

Distance
Test your power and technique in this thrilling event, where you compete to see who can throw their disc the farthest.

Accuracy
In this challenge, you throw frisbees at targets placed at varying distances to score points.

XDISC Battle
Showcase your best tricks and combos with an XDISC, blending athleticism, imagination, and flair in a battle-style format.

Dodgebee Guts
Two teams take turns throwing a Dodgebee, aiming to score points if the opposing team fails to make a catch.

Self-Caught Flight
Throw and catch your own throw – the farther you go, the higher your score!

Speed Flow
Teams of two pass the frisbee back and forth as many times as possible within one minute.

Discathon
You run through an obstacle course while throwing a frisbee, combining speed and strategy to cross the finish line first.

Longest Catch
One person throws the frisbee as far as possible, and their partner must successfully catch it to score.
What is a Frisbee Meet?
Frisbee Meet is Calgary’s first-ever multi-discipline frisbee competition, inspired by the structure of a track meet. Participants, ages 10 to 18, compete in 2-3 events from a lineup of eight disciplines, including distance throwing, freestyle, mini disc golf, and more. Whether you’re new to frisbee or an experienced player, Frisbee Meet is all about fun, skill-building, and friendly competition.
Who is it For?
Frisbee Meet is designed for school-aged kids and teens, ages 10 to 18, of all skill levels. Whether you’re just learning to throw or looking to test your skills, Frisbee Meet is a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone can shine.
The Mission

Our mission is to inspire youth to discover the joy of frisbee sports while building confidence, resilience, and a sense of community. Frisbee Meet promotes physical activity, creativity, and teamwork, helping participants develop skills that extend beyond the playing field.
About the Founder
Frisbee Meet was created by Rob McLeod, also known as Frisbee Rob—a 13-time Guinness World Records holder and advocate for the sport of flying disc (frisbee). With over 20 years of experience teaching and competing in frisbee disciplines, Rob has inspired millions of people all over the world through school workshops, camps, halftime shows, and motivational speaking. Frisbee Meet is his way of sharing the joy and benefits of frisbee with the next generation.
