The Adventures with Frisbee Rob

Every adventure begins with a question.

What happens when a frisbee, a curious question, and some of the greatest minds in history collide?

This project started in May 2023 at a Stix Hockey Spring Camp, when a curious kid called me “Isaac Newton’s enemy.”

I laughed.

Then I started wondering.

What if a frisbee could become a way to explore the questions that fascinated some of the greatest minds in history? What if kids could meet Newton, Archimedes, Leonardo da Vinci, and others not as names in a textbook, but as curious people who experimented, made mistakes, changed direction, and kept trying?

More than three years later, that question has become The Adventures with Frisbee Rob.

A New Adventure Every Monday

Each Monday morning, a new illustrated story will follow Frisbee Rob and the Wind through time to meet a Great Mind, explore a big question, and discover what can happen when things don’t go exactly as planned.

Every adventure will also be released as an audio story on Spotify.

From Story to Classroom

Teachers will also be able to access Alberta Curricular Connections for Kindergarten through Grade 6, connecting each adventure to:

Mathematics · Science · Social Studies · English Language Arts & Literature · Physical Education
