Rob McLeod, also known as “Frisbee Rob”, has joined the SAIT Recreation team as Head Coach of the Frisbee (Disc Sports) program.
I was invited back to Sunchild School for my 3rd frisbee residency; my first since 2018. The school also ordered custom frisbee fastback and custom Innova Makanis.
The newly designed Wham-O Ultimate Frisbee Disc is great for throwing and catching.
Frisbee is the Ageless Game and as a sport is similar to Track & Field since there are multiple disciplines. Frisbee is played by millions of people globally in more than 100 countries and the frisbee is the best selling toy/sports object of all time.
At the WCBU2017, commentator Tom Styles and I had some fun chatting with players, finding out who could name all 10 disciplines governed by the World Flying Disc Federation.
I take on the Distance event as part of the USA Ultimate Skills Challenge, which is a new feature in their app.
My best was 120 yards with a Backhand (2nd place on the leaderboard) and 97 yards (1st place on the leaderboard).
