About a month ago, I received an email from a producer with Discovery Channel‘s tv show Daily Planet. They were interested in finding out more about my Self Caught Flight on Ice Skates World Record attempts and possibly doing a story on my training and attempts, with a focus on the science behind the attempts.
Fast forward to today, one day before I attempt to break my 3 Guinness World Records tomorrow at the Silver Skate Festival. I found out yesterday that my story will be on the February 16th edition of Daily Planet, which is super exciting!
For the last month, I’ve been training, vlogging, promoting and coordinating with Discovery Channel to make sure that everything is all ready to go for tomorrow. They are having a cameraman and producer come out tomorrow for interviews, footage of my records and any other shots they need. They will also have a drone camera in the sky taking overhead video of my attempts, which I’m really looking forward to!
