I spent 2 days at Terry Fox School in Calgary speaking about kindness and teaching frisbee. The first day was Pink Shirt Day 2019.
Pink Shirt Day was originally created to bring awareness to bullying. It has since shifted to promote kindness and encourage everyone to be more kind to each other.
Whatever we focus on happens – the more we talk about bullying, the more it happens. The more we talk about kindness, the more it happens.
Instead of focusing on anti-bullying, let’s instead focus on being kind. There is a difference.
